Holding

Ian recited poetry in the Kindergarten show today. But the whole program was too much for him, and he didn't quite hold it together to the end. The other kids were worried, but ultimately they decided to proceed without him.

Sometimes, even with:

I feel like Ian. I don't know who I am, what I'm doing reciting poetry, or how to hold it all together. And the other kids proceed without me.
