It occurred to me in a flash this morning. . .the mindspace for meditation feels very much like the mindspace for deep listening. Do others sense this sameness?

Zen meditation for sure is all listening, purely skylike mindspace spacious enough to allow the clouds and precipitation of experience come and go without changing the changeless nature of the space. The experience of peace comes with shifting our identity from objects of the sky to the sky itself.
